• General Accounting
a. Responsible for complete and accurate financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet)
b. Manage the month end close by publishing results, setting up reviews with country manager and EMEIA finance
c. Provide Aging reports to management, monitor and assist in resolution
d. Posts the entries into the GL
• Customer Financial Services
a. Manage the credit process within the country
b. Supervise the disputes by liaising with the Operations team and provide timely updates on resolution
c. Single point of contact with collection agencies
d. Liaise with the Headquarters in US/NL on any ad-hoc issues
e. Responsible for the credit request process
• Trade Accounts Payable:
a. Verify and enter the vendor invoices into the operational system
b. Monitor the payment process (payment takes place in the USA)
c. Supervise the transaction process from beginning to end
d. Single Point of contact for communication with the Headquarter finance team (in Buffalo USA) to resolve any transnational issues or reconciliation gaps
• Financial Planning:
a. Support forecasting of the activity on a monthly basis
b. Support Country manager in defining corrective actions to achieve the plan
c. Supports the justification and approval process for future capital spending requirements
• Treasury:
a. Monitor the bank accounts
b. Prepare Cash Flow for funding requests
c. Assess best solutions for treasury related issues
• Miscellaneous:
a. Support the country managers on ad-hoc financial requests
b. Act as a business partner to the operations team
